Rob Miller is the Regional Commissioner of the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Public Buildings Service (PBS), Southeast Sunbelt Region (Region 4). In this role, Mr. Miller is responsible for managing nearly 44 million rentable square feet in approximately 1400 government-owned buildings and leased regional facilities in eight states.
Rob most recently served as the Acting Regional Administrator and PBS Regional Commissioner for the Heartland Region (Region 6), overseeing a team of more than 270 employees and managing a real estate portfolio comprising over 376 federally-owned and leased properties, totaling more than 23 million square feet across Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.
Rob began his GSA career in 1997 as a National Management Intern in Atlanta. He has held several leadership positions in the agency throughout his 27 year career, including Deputy Regional Commissioner for PBS, Senior Advisor to the Regional Commissioner and several division director positions across the Southeast Sunbelt Region. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Rob is a graduate of the Office of Personnel Management Federal Leadership Institute’s Leadership for a Democratic Society program.
Rob received a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Southern Illinois University, Master’s in Public Administration from Troy University, and a Post Graduate Leadership Certificate from Harvard Business School. Rob enjoys public policy, community service, mentorship, travel, and sports.
