GSA temporarily changes per diem, regular fuel policy in response to California wildfire

In response to the wildfires in Southern California, a temporary change to per diem and regular fuel policy was made to help existing local federal workers and those temporarily deployed to the area.

The temporary change began from the date of the Presidential Emergency Declaration affecting the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ventura in the state of California and remained in effect until Jan. 24, 2008.

For further specifics, see GSA Bulletin FTR 08-02 [DOC - 43 KB] for per diem policy change and GSA Bulletin FMR B-16 for fuel policy change.
