GSA Participates in Madawaska Bridge Study Meeting

Various other people are seen in the background in the room looking at postersOn June 28, GSA officials and project team members participated in two public information sessions in Madawaska, Maine, and Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, regarding the Madawaska/Edmundston International Bridge and Border Crossing Feasibility and Planning Study. 

The sessions were hosted by the Maine Department of Transportation and the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure in partnership with the Canada Border Services Agency, the General Services Administration, and the Public Works and Government Services in Canada. 

Both sessions were well attended by the public, local government officials, business owners and media. Additional sessions are scheduled for Fall 2017 and Spring 2018.
