GSA Participates in Topping Out Ceremony for New Federal Courthouse in San Antonio, Texas

In historic downtown San Antonio, GSA, the U.S. Courts and the construction contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie, joined for the new federal courthouse topping out celebration. Topping out practices date back to at least 700 AD and represent a construction milestone when the last beam has been placed atop the structure.
GSA’s new design build federal courthouse will provide eight courtrooms, 13 judges’ chambers and spaces for the U.S. Courts, U.S. Attorneys, U.S. Marshals, U.S. Probation, and Federal Public Defender. The anticipated completion date of the project is Summer 2022.
