GSA Gets High Marks in 2022 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey

GSA is a great place to work - just ask our employees who completed the 2022 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey. The survey (administered by the Office of Personnel Management) is an organizational climate survey and assesses how employees jointly experience the policies, practices, and procedures characteristic of their agency and its leadership.

GSA received some of its best scores ever and notched highest marks among large agencies in employee engagement, satisfaction, performance confidence and diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility indexes.

GSA scored the highest among large agencies in the following categories:

  • Employee Engagement Index score - 83 percent (This index uses questions from the survey to measure conditions that are conducive to employee engagement)
  • Global Satisfaction Index score - 78 percent (This index measures employee satisfaction on four aspects related to their work)
  • Performance Confidence Index score - 92 percent (This is the extent to which employees believe their organization has an outstanding competitive future, based on innovative, high-quality products and services that are highly regarded by the marketplace)
  • DEIA Index score - 81 percent (This measure was specifically designed to align with Executive Order 14035 which features four distinct factors: diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, included as subindices in the survey)

The results show that GSA is becoming a top spot for employees looking to expand and build their careers.  We want job seekers to know that you can make an impact at GSA.
