GSA is committed to advocating for small disadvantaged businesses (SDB). In fiscal year 2024 GSA strives to award 22.6% of GSA’s total spend with SDBs and 38% with small businesses. Help us meet this goal by learning how to make the most of your GSA schedule.
8(a) Partnership Agreement (PA) with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
Recently GSA issued a joint press release with SBA announcing the new 8(a) Partnership Agreement (PA). The most significant advantages of the new PA are related to increased opportunity for 8(a) vendors under the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) program. For the first time ever, agencies have the ability to sole source orders to 8(a) vendors on the GSA MAS and compete orders via 8(a) set asides. By allowing federal agencies to fully leverage the power of MAS for 8(a) orders through this new 8(a) PA, substantial new opportunities are created.
