Stephanie Joseph

Stephanie Joseph is the Acting Associate Administrator for GSA’s Office of Strategic Communication, effective Jan. 20, 2025.

Since 2020, she has served as the Office of Strategic Communication’s Deputy Associate Administrator of Operations and has expertly managed its $24 million budget. She joined our agency as the communications chief of the Acquisition Client Branch in 2018, and led her team to launch the FAS Focus podcast, which was subsequently transformed into the flagship podcast, GSA Does That!?.

Stephanie has a proven track record of success over her 20+ year career that spans sectors including: industry, not-for-profit, and federal government. She is certified in Strategic Communication Management by Purdue University. Stephanie previously worked at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Office of External Affairs, and was awarded the FDA Commissioner’s Award of Excellence.
