Andrew Heller
Andrew is the Acting Commissioner at the U.S. General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service. As the Acting Commissioner, he is responsible for managing GSA’s approximately 355-million square foot real estate portfolio, including more than 8,000 federally owned properties and leased spaces throughout the United States and six territories.
Andrew began his career with GSA in 2004 as an Asset Manager in the GSA/PBS Mid-Atlantic Region. Prior to his current assignment, Andrew held various leadership roles across PBS, including National Client Executive for the Judiciary, Deputy Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Portfolio Management and Customer Engagement, Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Facilities Management, Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Strategy and Engagement and Deputy Commissioner.
Prior to federal service, Andrew worked as an accountant at a firm in Pittsburgh, PA. Andrew graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, double majoring in finance and accounting. He also attended graduate school as an MBA candidate at The George Washington University School of Business. Andrew resides in Leesburg, VA with his wife and two daughters.
