Recent appointments include Senior Advisor to the Administrator and Senior Technology Advisor

Washington, D.C.—The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announces Julie Dunne as Senior Advisor to the Administrator and Reynold Schweickhardt as Senior Advisor for Technology. Dunne and Schweickhardt, appointees of President Donald J. Trump, will provide strategic counsel to Administrator Emily Murphy on acquisition policies and legislation, and strategic guidance on the agency’s expanding technology transformation portfolio, respectively.

Dunne joins GSA as an acquisition policy attorney with prior experience in the executive branch, private sector, and Congress. She previously served as Staff Director on the Government Operations Subcommittee of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and as Senior Counsel on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Prior to her experience in Congress, Dunne was a government contracts attorney at a Washington, D.C. law firm.  Additionally, she has served at the Department of Homeland Security as Associate General Counsel for General Law and at the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security.

Schweickhardt comes to GSA from the U.S. House of Representatives where he had served as the Director of Technology Policy since 2011, providing oversight on all House IT programs and leading many cross-organizational initiatives. Previously, he had served at the U.S. Government Printing Office as the Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Officer, and acting Chief of Staff.

Dunne holds a J.D. from the Washington College of Law, American University, a Masters in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University, and an undergraduate degree in Political Science and English from James Madison University.
