GSA Appoints Waldo Jaquith Senior Advisor to the Administrator and Nathan Osburn as Speechwriter
WASHINGTON — This week, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) appointed Waldo Jaquith as Senior Advisor to the Administrator and Nathan Osburn as the agency’s Speechwriter.
Waldo Jaquith comes to the agency with over a decade of experience in government and technology policy. An expert in budgeting and procurement for government software, he will coordinate GSA’s efforts to support state, local, tribal and territorial initiatives across the agency. Prior to his appointment at GSA, Jaquith served as Director of Open Data with the mission of building the nation’s open data capacity and worked at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Waldo was most recently a fellow at the Beeck Center for Social Innovation at Georgetown University and a key member of the team at U.S. Digital Response. He was also previously a senior innovation specialist at 18F.
Nathan Osburn brings a dozen years of government, policy, and communications experience to the Biden-Harris Administration. He previously served as a speechwriter at the Department of Commerce and U.S. Small Business Administration, where he wrote hundreds of speeches, op-eds, blogs, and correspondence for the Commerce Secretary and SBA Administrator.
