The Federal Acquisition Institute has a new look
Post filed in: Acquisition
GSA’s Office of Government-wide Policy has created a new logo for the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI). FAI recognized a need for a new logo that better reflects current changes, a new direction. Today’s acquisition workforce must think critically, problem-solve and make smart decisions quickly. This new FAI logo is a more modern and forward-leaning design. It represents commitment to speed and agility to meet the needs of a modern federal acquisition workforce.
The new logo change coincides with FAI migrating the Federal Acquisition Institute and Training Applications System (FAITAS) to Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD). CSOD is a commercial software as a service platform hosted by Defense Acquisition University. The new system is named FAI CSOD. The new logo is now visible on FAI’s website, Acquisition Today newsletter, FAI CSOD and templates. It will soon be visible on all of FAI’s training classes.
While not abandoning the current FAI seal, which has been used as the sole branding image, the new logo will take a prominent role and the seal will accompany it. The seal will still be used for official correspondence, awards, ceremonial purposes and training certificates.
