BIA Training Event (3 CLPs) Property Disposal & Sales (Virtual, 8/3/26)

This specialized training event has been created exclusively for Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) property officers and managers in the Northwest region.

This tailored, three-part session provides a comprehensive overview of the BIA's personal property disposal process. Attendees will learn the fundamentals of reporting excess property to GSA, best practices for managing property records within the Personal Property Management System (PPMS), and how to navigate the GSA Auctions sales process to maximize return and ensure compliance.

• Date: Monday, August 3, 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM PT / 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM CT
• Cost: FREE virtual training
• CLPs: Attendees will earn 3 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) for full participation.
• Platform: Zoom for Government (ZFG). Please test your connection in advance, as ZFG may not be compatible with all agency systems.

Who Should Attend:

This training is open to all federal employees with the BIA in the Northwest region. BIA employees outside of this region should first consult with their Regional Property Officer to determine if attendance is appropriate.
