The Federal Executive Board (FEB) honored GSA Mid-Atlantic Region employees and project teams at their Excellence in Government Awards ceremony, held May 2 at the William J. Green, Jr. Federal Building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The annual awards recognize federal employees in the greater Philadelphia area for their outstanding accomplishments in meeting the needs of their constituents and the general public.
“Recapping a career in public service is difficult. Sometimes it is the smallest of successes that blossom into something that is beneficial to someone, or some group you’ll never meet. If you can understand that, then you can find happiness with public service,” shared GSA R3 Supervisory Business Systems Specialist Doug Dooling, bronze medal recipient for his long-standing commitment to the highest standards of federal service. “Knowing that your service matters makes it all worthwhile.”
