Close Date Announced for Online Auction of Former U.S. Coast Guard Housing in North Kingstown, Rhode Island
BOSTON – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announces that the Initially Anticipated Close Date for the online auction of the former U.S. Coast Guard Housing in Kingstown, Rhode Island is set for November 10, 2020.

The online auction is part of GSA’s ongoing efforts to dispose of excess properties, saving taxpayer dollars and making more efficient use of the government’s real estate assets.
Those interested in an inspection of the property must:
- Register to bid.
- No later than October 30, 2020, fill out the Site Inspection Waiver provided on the realestatesales.gov site.
- Once the Site Inspection Waiver is submitted, bidders will be contacted to schedule an appointment.
This property consists of:
- Eleven (11) Single-Family Houses on one 2.3+ acre lot.
- Each has:
- three bedrooms
- one bathroom
- kitchen
- living area
- a one-car garage.
The Property is located in the Signal Rock Acres Neighborhood of North Kingstown, which is a low-density single-family neighborhood in the town. The property is surrounded by a town park to the North, residential streets to the East and South, and a privately-owned undeveloped property to the West.
The town of North Kingstown is located in Washington County on Narragansett Bay and is about twenty miles south of Providence, RI. It is also considered a commuter town to Boston, MA with access to the MBTA Commuter Rail, Wickford Junction line, which goes to Boston’s South Station.
