GSA announces public sale by auction of a former U.S. Coast Guard family housing site in Jonesport, Maine

BOSTON – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is offering for sale by public auction a former U.S. Coast Guard family housing site in Jonesport, Maine. GSA is leading the way to reduce government spending and close the deficit in service of the American taxpayer.

The property is located just off Mason Bay Road, in a residential neighborhood two miles north of the town center.

Property Details:

This 9.9-acre property includes:

●    Nine 1,255 square foot, single family units, each with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, an unfinished basement, 1 car garage and shed.
●    A 1,000 square foot garage/maintenance building, and a water/cistern building.

The condition of the property is not warranted.

Auction Details:

●    The auction opened on April 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. CT (12:00 p.m. ET)
●    Interested bidders are required to register in advance and submit a $50,000 registration deposit. 
●    Bid increments are $25,000 
●    Inspections will be scheduled for registered bidders only
