Chris Bolinger named PBS Facilities Management director

Chris Bolinger is the new director of PBS Region 6’s Facilities Management Division.

Chris Bolinger has been selected as the new director of PBS Region 6’s Facilities Management Division, permanently filling the role vacated by Cy Houston in July.

“With many great candidates in the running, I know Chris will be a strong leader and advocate for the division,” said PBS Regional Commissioner Kevin Rothmier. “He brings depth to the position as he has served in a myriad of roles across the organization.”

Bolinger joined PBS as an intern in 2002. He then spent eight years in leasing as a contracting officer and team leader. In 2010, he moved into an account management role, serving both regional and national customers. After two years he joined the Facilities and Service Center business line and has since served in both branch chief and deputy director roles.

“Chris has established local, regional and national relationships throughout his career and has extensive background managing projects and leading non-space priorities for the region,” Rothmier said. “He also has experience in 18 of the 23 division programs and has already led two of the three branches in the division. He knows the organization well and has demonstrated leadership across many business lines.”
