Chris Smith models customer service with CBP St. Louis display wall project
ST. LOUIS — GSA Lease Management Specialist Christopher Smith recently worked with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s St. Louis office to create a veteran’s wall display honoring CBP employees with current or former military service.
The new display area includes a digital monitor that rotates photos and information throughout the day.
“This project took a bit of time coordinating while we worked to find the most advantageous pricing, but we’re very happy with the final product,” Smith said. “It really means a lot to the people working and visiting the office.”
CBP facility representatives say Smith’s efforts garnered positive feedback, and they gave him top scores across the board on a project pulse survey. He was noted as “exceeding expectations” in communication and transparency; quality of work; and managing the schedule, scope, and budget.
“Everything went smoothly and the project looks great,” St. Louis CBP Port Director Joseph Lanzante said.
