What was your career journey, to where you are now?
I started my career with the federal government on Guam with the U.S. Air Force at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Kansas City is a long way from Guam, but it’s a great place to be!
What other federal government or military experience have you had and for how long?
I have worked with Military Sealift Command (both on Guam and in San Diego, California) and with Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) in San Diego.
What is your alma mater, degree or special training?
Master’s degree in contract management.
What is your biggest professional or personal accomplishment?
My biggest personal accomplishment is having three wonderful children who are accomplished in their own right and don’t need help from mom any longer :)
How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?
Walk, and exercise daily.
Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?
My significant other is Billy Lee Little Jr. who was born and raised in Missouri. He is a retired from the U.S. Air Force and a practicing attorney. I have three children: one in Portland who works as an engineer for an athletic company, another in Los Angeles who works as a legal assistant for a media service, and a daughter on Guam, an attorney.
What three words best describe your personality?
Get it done.
What is one of the items on your bucket list?
I have traveled all over the world, but I’d like to visit all of the states by car.
What characteristic or value do you most admire in others?
Positivity, a great attitude, and a can-do attitude.
What is your unique talent, skill or gift?
I love art and interior design.
