Gladstone, Missouri

Where is your hometown?
Union, Oregon

What was your career journey, to where you are now?
My career journey to where I am today was a twisty path that all started when I joined the Coast Guard right after high school!

What other federal government or military experience have you had and for how long?
I served in the U.S. Coast Guard for about 10 years.

What is your alma mater, degree or special training?
I have an associate’s degree in occupational studies.

What is your biggest professional or personal accomplishment?
My biggest personal accomplishment is my family, and the strong bond that we all share.

How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with family, outdoor activities, and riding my motorcycle!

Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?
I am married, and my wife and I have two daughters whom we are immensely proud of. We also share our home with two dogs (an Irish Wolfhound and a boxer mix) and some cats.

What three words best describe your personality?
Relaxed, social, and persistent.

What is one of the items on your bucket list?
Visit all of the states on a motorcycle.

What characteristic or value do you most admire in others?
Loyalty.

What is your unique talent, skill or gift?
I am a good listener, and people naturally feel comfortable confiding in me.

I am excited to be a member of Team GSA and look forward to what this career will look like!
