Colorado Springs, Colorado

What was your career journey, to where you are now?

Very long, eight years as an Army officer and 20 years in sales roles. I transitioned to accounting in 2019 by finishing my second degree. After a year in corporate accounting, I came to this position at GSA.

What other federal government or military experience have you had and for how long?

Eight years as an Army Aviation Officer.

What is your alma mater, degree or special training?

B.S. Accounting - Western Governors University.

How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?

Exercise, running and travel.

Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?

I have been married to Shannon for 3 1/2 years, have a stepson, Ryan, 13 years old. I also have four adult children from my previous marriage and six grandchildren.

What three words best describe your personality?

I can tend to be very direct, and I try to tell everyone that up front.

What is one of the items on your bucket list?

Travel to Scotland
