Where is your hometown?

Derby, Kansas

What was your career journey, to where you are now?

Out of college, I worked for Sprint in Overland Park, Kansas. Due to the instability and uncertainty of working in telecom, I sought out a more stable career in civil service.

What other federal government or military experience have you had and for how long?

Previously worked at the VA for just over nine years, seven of those years in contracting as an 1102.

What is your alma mater, degree or special training?

Baker University, Bachelor of business administration

What is your biggest professional or personal accomplishment?

Coming up with creative solutions and ideas to overcome a variety of workplace challenges.

How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?

Work out, read, and sleep!

Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?

I am married and have a 6-year-old son.

What three words best describe your personality?

A little goofy/silly, honest, and reliable.

What is one of the items on your bucket list?

Before COVID-19, I always wanted to go on a cruise ship vacation. I now just want to go somewhere outside of my house…
