Where do you live?

Lee’s Summit, Missouri

What is your alma mater, degree or special training?

University of Notre Dame Law School, J.D.; Loyola Marymount University, B.S. and B.A.; Rockhurst High School

What is your biggest professional or personal accomplishment?

I argued successfully, in person, in front of the California Courts of Appeal!

How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?

I love shopping and reading nonfiction books. I enjoy volunteering and do so semi-regularly through my church.

Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?

I have a 10-month-old pit bull puppy named Laila. I’m also a huge car nut. I have subscribed to “Car and Driver” magazine since I was 7, and I worked for a time for Toyota at their national sales and research and development headquarters.

What three words best describe your personality?

Affable, authentic, and loyal.

What is one of the items on your bucket list?

I want to spend one year (and one year only!) living in New York City.

What characteristic or value do you most admire in others?

Authenticity
