Stefanie Walters promoted to senior building manager

Stefanie Walters, a long-time building manager at the Richard Bolling Federal Building in Kansas City, Missouri, was promoted to senior building manager in the Kansas City North Field Office Jan. 2.

In this role, she oversees building managers, lease managers and project managers. 

What do you look forward to most about this new position?

I am looking forward to the new challenge of supervising employees in the Kansas City North Field Office, helping problem solve decisions and issues the field office employees face on a daily basis, as well as learning about other GSA programs like leasing and project management. I have done most of my years with GSA within building management.

How do you think your previous experience has prepared you for the new role?

With my previous experience in building management, I will be able to help navigate and oversee the building service contracts, work through the safety and environmental audits, and other day-to-day experiences within building management.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I am excited to start a leadership position within the field office. We have a great team who works together to serve our customers and accomplish our daily responsibilities.
