GSA, CBP Announce Processing Change for Southbound Buses at DeConcini and Mariposa Crossings

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

What: Today, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced upcoming changes to southbound bus processing at the Port of Nogales, Dennis DeConcini crossing. Effective Monday, December 19, 2016 at 6 a.m., CBP will shift southbound bus operations from the DeConcini crossing to the Mariposa crossing between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. This operational change is in place until further notice. Bus operators are advised to plan ahead and use the Mariposa crossing during these hours when traveling southbound into Mexico.

When: Effective Monday, December 19, 2016 during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Note: Southbound buses will be permitted to cross using the west side lane into Mexico at the DeConcini crossing only between the hours of 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
