During Hispanic Heritage Month, GSA Launches Public Engagement Campaign to Raise Awareness of Spanish-Language Government Services
WASHINGTON — In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM), the General Services Administration (GSA) announced a public engagement campaign to connect the American people with official, reliable, Spanish-language government information and services. During this campaign, USAGov en Español will highlight federal agencies that provide authoritative government information in Spanish.
The effort will include over a dozen federal agency partners, including the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Minority Health, and the Social Security Administration, and will help the public navigate helpful government information, including in the form of social media posts, email marketing messages, and web content — all in Spanish.
“The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to creating a government that is accessible to all Americans,” said GSA Administrator Robin Carnahan. “As we mark Hispanic Heritage Month, efforts like these will help ensure Spanish-language government resources are accessible and widely known.”
