GSA Adds 31 Contractors to OASIS SB Pool 2, Increases Small Business Competition

WASHINGTON, D.C. --

The U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) has added 31 new small businesses to the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Small Business (OASIS SB) Pool 2 contract. This completes the first on-ramp of contractors to the existing OASIS SB contract and gives federal agencies access to an even broader pool of small business industry partners. The award announcement can be found on SAM.gov.

“OASIS SB’s proven performance demonstrates it can provide agencies with flexible full-service professional services solutions while driving down costs for the American taxpayer,” said FAS Assistant Commissioner Office of Professional Services & Human Capital Categories Tiffany Hixson. “The first-of-its-kind on-ramp ensures federal agencies have access to a flexible, and knowledgeable pool of experienced industry partners within the OASIS program, while further promoting the small business industrial base.”

OASIS SB, a 100 percent small business set-aside contract, was developed in response to the government’s substantial need for a hybrid, government-wide acquisition vehicle. The OASIS program conducted the on-ramp to increase the number of experienced small business contractors in OASIS SB Pool 2. The services solicited under the Pool 2 on-ramp are: Offices of Certified Public Accountants, Tax Preparation Services, Payroll Services, Other Accounting Services and Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities.

About OASIS

The OASIS SB and OASIS family of contracts have proven to be a significant step forward in supporting federal customers, and improving acquisition efficiency and effectiveness in the federal government.

OASIS was launched in September 2014 and provides access to both commercial and non-commercial services. The core services that can be acquired through OASIS and OASIS SB include program management services, management consulting services, logistics services, engineering services, scientific services, and financial services. OASIS and OASIS SB are designed to:

  • Span multiple professional service disciplines as well as provide associated other direct costs (ODC’s)
  • Allow for ancillary acquisition of IT
  • Provide contract type flexibility at the task order level including cost reimbursement

OASIS SB contracts were launched in June 2014 and provide a streamlined solution for both commercial and non-commercial needs. OASIS SB reduces duplication of contracting efforts across the government and provides federal agencies with comprehensive, integrated professional services contract options.

Prior to the on-ramp, contracts for OASIS SB were awarded to 130 small businesses, while OASIS contracts were awarded to 75 companies without size restriction. For more information on OASIS SB and OASIS, visit www.gsa.gov/oasis and OASIS Industry Community on GSA Interact.
