1.  Purpose

Pursuant to  31 U.S.C. § 3726(g), this Order implements a delegation of authority from the Administrator of General Services to all Federal agencies to adjudicate transportation claims between the agency procuring the transportation services and the carrier or freight-forwarder presenting the bill.

2.  Background

The Delegation of Authority for Adjudication of Transportation Claims delegates the authority to Federal agencies to adjudicate transportation claims which cannot be resolved between the agency procuring the transportation services and the carrier or freight-forwarder presenting the bill. 4.  Limitation

The authority delegated above shall not be re-delegated, but an agency may enter into an agreement with another Federal agency to provide adjudication services on their behalf.

5.  Implementing Actions

Each Federal agency shall take the necessary actions to implement this Order.
