GSA 101 and PPMS Familiarization

GSA Events offers a wide variety of training opportunities for your agency. The training is free, and you can earn Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) for attending all classes. With these recurring training opportunities, the Office of Stakeholder and Engagement that supports the Department of the Army, is on a recurring basis, providing overviews of the acquisition support we offer our federal customers and Military! All developed to make your acquisition work easier and more efficient while achieving cost savings!


Mark your calendar right now to attend this monthly Training Seminar. This free training provides information on GSA 101 Training and PPMS Familiarization:

• GSA 101: Learn about GSA’s history, organizational structure, availability of GSA’s contract solutions, and additional resources.

Learning Objectives:

-GSA Organizational Structure

-Contracting Vehicles

-Departments

-Resources

• PPMS Familiarization: Topic covers the familiarization of PPMS. PPMS is GSA’s web-enabled computer system for reporting, acquiring, and managing excess and surplus property.

Learning Objectives:

-utilize PPMS as your first source of supply

-navigate the PPMS homepage

-get a PPMS User ID

-log into PPMS with MFA

Training Agenda:

-GSA 101- 9:00-9:45 a.m. (1 CLP)

-Break Time- 9:45-10:00 a.m.

-PPMS Familiarization 10:00-11:00 a.m. (1 CLP)

-Q&A’s will be answered during the session.

Once you complete the training, you will acquire (2) one Continuous Learning Points credit.
