Use micro-purchase delegation of authority in GSA-managed property

You can save time and simplify the process for completing minor projects and acquiring services in GSA-managed property when you use our micro-purchase delegation of authority.

Heads of Executive Agencies and the judiciary may directly procure projects and services in GSA-managed property when:

• The cost of the work is at or below the micro-purchase threshold.
  • For acquisitions of construction subject to 40 U.S.C. chapter 31, the threshold is $2,000.
  • For acquisitions of services subject to 41 U.S.C. chapter 67, the threshold is $2,500.
• You have received our facility manager’s written approval. If you are in leased space, you need written approval from our lease administration manager or lease contracting officer.
• The head of your agency has transferred authority to you.
