New Deal Art at Wilbur J. Cohen Federal Building (1 hour tour)
The Cohen building features massive mural cycles by three celebrated artists of the 20th century: Philip Guston, Ben Shahn, and Seymour Fogel. Each mural vividly illustrates life in 1930s America, and highlights the government’s role in caring for its citizens through the Social Security Administration.
Contemporary Sculpture in the Federal Triangle (1 hour tour)
D.C.’s Federal Triangle is home to several public sculptures that span nearly a century. The tour will highlight contemporary and historic public sculpture in the Triangle and conclude with a trip to the clocktower of the Old Post Office building for a 360 degree view of the city.
New Deal Art at William Jefferson Clinton Federal Building (1 hour 15 minute tour)
The current home of the EPA boasts an impressive collection of New Deal era murals, including over 20 paintings and frescoes that depict a “romantic history” of the U.S. Postal Service. This is a rare opportunity to see a full program of murals in their original context. The tour offers a unique snapshot of America in the 1930s that captures the hopes, ideals, and ingrained cultural attitudes of the country at that time.
Contemporary Art at FDA White Oak (1 hour tour)
FDA’s White Oak Campus has one of the largest concentrations of Art in Architecture commissions in the country. This immense facility in Silver Spring, Maryland, features extraordinary artworks spread across a beautiful and state-of-the-art campus that serves as the headquarters of the Food and Drug Administration.
New Deal Art at Stewart Udall Department of the Interior Building (1 hour 15 minute tour)
The art program at the Department of the Interior hosts an incredible array of murals and sculptures from the 1930s. The grand hallways and impressive spaces of this New Deal building are a sight to behold including a magnificent and rare series of murals by Native artists.
The Interior Museum offers weekly tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Advance reservations are required.

Per diem localities with county definitions shall include"all locations within, or entirely surrounded by, the corporate limits of the key city as well as the boundaries of the listed counties, including independent entities located within the boundaries of the key city and the listed counties (unless otherwise listed separately)."
When a military installation or Government - related facility(whether or not specifically named) is located partially within more than one city or county boundary, the applicable per diem rate for the entire installation or facility is the higher of the rates which apply to the cities and / or counties, even though part(s) of such activities may be located outside the defined per diem locality.
