The Evaluation Division provides teams with consultation, end-to-end evaluation support, and workshops to develop effective evaluation strategies and enable learning from data.
Internal consultation
We support internal lines of business in developing their evaluation strategies—including logic models and theories of change—develop research questions, apply evaluation methods, and interpret results.
End-to-end evaluation support
Our division supports GSA program offices with the design and implementation of rigorous evaluations to build evidence on our priorities, including through descriptive studies, formative evaluation, process/implementation evaluation, outcome evaluation, impact evaluation, and economic evaluation. We are a resource to help GSA interpret and use evidence to make informed decisions.
Workshops
To help build our evaluation capacity, we offer workshops to GSA employees that cover a range of topics, such as research question development, evaluation basics, quantitative and qualitative methods, mixed methods, performance measurement and evaluation, and economic evaluation.
