AI has the potential to vastly improve our business practices and we want to ensure risk mitigation and compliance with legal standards. To help us monitor and mitigate risks, we have established our governance framework, including:

• Chief AI Officer — Establishes processes to measure and evaluate AI performance, and oversee our AI plans, compliance, and inventory.
• AI Governance Board — Serves as a decisional board to oversee and coordinate the agency’s activities related to AI.
• AI Oversight Committee — Operationalizes the AI Governance Board’s risk posture by developing a risk rubric, and manage intake of use cases while identifying all rights and safety.

By engaging our experts throughout the agency, we can ensure we are moving forward with the ethical use of AI. Our directive provides additional guidelines for using AI safely and responsibly.
