Awarded markets
City Pair awarded 17,735 markets in fiscal year 2027, with 12,955 of those as Domestic and 4,780 as International. These awards represent 93% of all trips flown by government travelers completing their missions. 3,277 markets were awarded with non-stop service.
15,806 of all markets have two discounted coach fares, up 24% from FY26. This provides flexibility for immediate travel and deeply discounted fares for booking flights early. The YCA provides last seat availability up until the plane is sold out and the _CA fare offers a deeply discounted offering based on supply and demand of a flight.
Savings
The GSA City Pair Program will continue to save taxpayers an estimated $2.02B in FY27. CPP fares benchmark 47.8% lower than similar commercial fares with no exchange fees, fully refundable, last seat availability, no instant ticketing and no blackout dates.
City Pair benchmarks lower than corporate airfare in these common routes traveled by the federal government.
