GSA is focused on delivering the best value in real estate to our federal partners and the American people,” said Heartland Public Buildings Service Regional Commissioner Kevin Rothmier. “We are happy to celebrate this achievement with our intergovernmental and industry partners, and we are grateful to be a trusted mission enabler for the important work of the Federal Judiciary. Most of all, we appreciate the ongoing support of the Des Moines community.”

The court has watched the building progress every day,” said Chief Judge John A. Jarvey of Des Moines. “We thank GSA and Ryan Construction for keeping this historic project on time and within budget. The topping-out of the building is a wonderful milestone. We see the shape that we worked so hard to achieve with the design team.  We look forward to seeing the building clad and transforming it to a place that serves the needs of the citizens of Iowa and elsewhere for many decades to come. We cannot wait to see the finished project,” he said.

Ryan Companies US, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota, leads construction on the project. Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects is the lead designer, and Neumann Monson Architects serves as architect of record. Jacobs is the construction manager.
