ASTRO is a set of contract vehicles managed by Assisted Acquisition Services. It provides agencies with a flexible way to acquire services related to manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms and robotics.
The ASTRO program is made up of ten Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts, giving agencies broad access to industry capabilities that are not available through other acquisition channels.
ASTRO organizes services into functional pools. Each pool identifies a type of work, outlines expected performance, lists the applicable North American Industry Classification System code, and specifies the small business size standard.
