Scope
The Software Maintenance SIN 54151 includes software maintenance services. The services include, but are not limited to:
- Person-to-person communications, specialized technical expertise, and custom support that is not included in the standard or commercial-off-the-shelf software license price.
- The “human” element of software support, such as the creation, design, implementation, and integration of customized changes to software.
- Technical expertise and labor-intensive activities through telephone support, online technical support, or other customized support.
Note: Software Maintenance Services are billed in arrears in accordance with 31 U.S.C. 3324.

Multiple Award Schedule is a fixed price with economic price adjustment Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract, and is open to federal, state, local, and tribal agencies. Some organizations may be eligible to use Cooperative Purchasing and Disaster Purchasing programs.

When you’re ready to buy, issue requests to vendors through eBuy and GSA Advantage. Review the OMB Software Acquisition memo for guidance as applicable to your agency. Search the FedRAMP Marketplace for offerings with a FedRAMP designation, a list of federal agencies using FedRAMP Authorized offerings, and FedRAMP-recognized assessors/auditors that can perform a FedRAMP assessment.
Sell through MAS
Current contract holders can submit a modification to add a SIN in the eOffer/eMod portal. If you’re new to MAS, follow the MAS Roadmap guidance for preparing and sending an offer. You may be eligible to use FASt Lane, which can get you selling on schedules even faster.
