The Brien McMahon Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, located in the South End of Bridgeport, Connecticut, is a steel-frame structure clad with limestone panels and a curtain wall system. The building is situated on a 3.35 acre-site and contains four above-grade stories and a basement. The building was renamed in 1994 after Brien McMahon, a former Connecticut senator who served in office from 1945-1952.
Public Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (except federal holidays)
Public Access: The public is permitted access without appointment. You must state the nature of your business upon arrival and clear a security screening.

When a military installation or Government - related facility(whether or not specifically named) is located partially within more than one city or county boundary, the applicable per diem rate for the entire installation or facility is the higher of the rates which apply to the cities and / or counties, even though part(s) of such activities may be located outside the defined per diem locality.
