This building was originally built in 1965 and it is the only federal building in Pierre including five floors that have about 94,600 total rentable square feet. There is an on-going long-term need to provide office space to agencies such as the Courts, U.S. Attorney’s Office, the U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Probation, U.S. Postal Service, Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, and the General Services Administration.

Directions
From the west: Remain on Hwy 14 East . At intersection with Hwy 83, take a left remaining on Hwy 14 East/Hwy 83 North. Cross the Missouri River, remaining on Hwy 14 changing to W. Sioux Avenue. Continue on West Sioux Avenue. Turn Left onto S. Pierre Street. The building is on your left.
From the south: Remain on Hwy 83 North. Continue through town on Hwy 83 North, changing to W. Sioux Avenue. Turn Left onto S. Pierre Street. The building is on your left.
From the north: Remain on Hwy 83 South/Hwy 14 West. Continue through town on Euclid Ave. Follow Hwy signs as you turn right onto E. Pleasant Drive and then left on to S. Pierre Street. Turn right on to W. Sioux Avenue. The building is on your right.
Parking
Short-term basis is available on both sides of South Pierre Street.
Additional parking is available at the free City Parking Lots half a block from the building, one on the south side of Pierre Street and one on the north side in the designated area in front of King’s Inn (behind Walgreens).

Per diem localities with county definitions shall include"all locations within, or entirely surrounded by, the corporate limits of the key city as well as the boundaries of the listed counties, including independent entities located within the boundaries of the key city and the listed counties (unless otherwise listed separately)."
When a military installation or Government - related facility(whether or not specifically named) is located partially within more than one city or county boundary, the applicable per diem rate for the entire installation or facility is the higher of the rates which apply to the cities and / or counties, even though part(s) of such activities may be located outside the defined per diem locality.
