Employee Survey Reports

The Office of Personnel Management administers the annual Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey to eligible staff as a way to assess our agency’s ability to provide a positive, healthy, and innovative work environment. The 2024 FEVS survey content was generally the same as the previous year, and included agency-specific questions about work schedules, recognition, retention, and future work improvement efforts.

The 2024 topline results show that GSA continues to maintain and build on strong performance, consistently outpacing other agencies in key indicators of employee engagement and satisfaction. A few highlights:

• 67% of GSA employees shared feedback — that’s 26% higher than the Governmentwide rate.
• Employee Engagement Index score — 86%
• Performance Confidence Index score — 94%
• Global Satisfaction Index score — 82%
• DEIA Index score — 85%

Leadership will use the results to develop meaningful action plans aimed to improve day-to-day operations while also ensuring we lead a people-first culture to enhance the employee experience. The Partnership for Public Service also uses the results to identify governmentwide trends and determine the Best Places to Work rankings. Our agency is currently ranked #2 on this list within the mid-size category.
