Medium and Heavy Duty Vehicle Sales
GSA Fleet leases vehicles to other federal agencies. When a Medium and Heavy Duty vehicle meets its replacement criteria as determined by GSA Fleet, it is offered to the public for sale and sold at auction. GSA Fleet offers a variety of trucks for sale to the public exclusively online on a monthly basis.

For each sale, visit our sale calendar at autoauctions.gsa.gov/, choose a sale, look at the sale details at the top of the page and make sure to read the description under the promotion field for the most up to date information on the sale.
Most GSA Fleet Internet sales take place on GSA Auctions. If you're new to GSA Auctions, please make sure to register on GSA Auctions to participate in the online sale. AutoAuctions may be used for sale details and to preview the GSA Fleet vehicles offered for sale, but to bid on a vehicle for sale, please use GSA Auctions.
Medium and Heavy Duty Vehicles can be either 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive, and among the following vehicle types:
- Cab & Chassis
- Stake & Platform Trucks
- Delivery Vans
- Refrigerated Vans
- Service Utility Trucks
- Multistop Vans
- Dump Trucks
- Maintenance Trucks
- Tractors
- Trailers
- Semi Trailers
- Wreckers (5-35 tons)
- Tankers.
- Medium Duty: 12,500 - 23,999 GVWR (could be 4x2 or 4x4)
- Heavy Duty: 24,000 GVWR and over
- Special purpose vehicles, meaning wreckers, fuel service vehicles (refuelers, tankers), Trailers, Semi Trailers (sliding axles, multiple axles).
Our vehicles are well-maintained and may come with options such as:
- 2 or 4 Wheel Drive
- Snow plows
- V box salt/sand spreaders
- Tailgate spreaders
- Lift gates
- Tool boxes, and more.
