Presidential Executive Order 14240, Eliminating Waste and Saving Taxpayer Dollars by Consolidating Procurement, centralizes the acquisition of common goods and services at GSA. This effort will streamline governmentwide procurement and regulations, reducing duplication and enabling agencies to focus on their core missions.
As part of our implementation of Executive Order 14240, the Office of Centralized Acquisition Services is being established. OCAS serves as the central hub for acquisition execution by supporting agencies as they transition procurement authority for designated contracts to us.
We will update this page continually to provide information for our federal partners, contractor community, and stakeholders, as this is a complex undertaking that requires careful planning, collaboration, and communication with all stakeholders. Reach out to ocas@gsa.gov to share your comments or submit questions.
Contracting officer’s representatives, or CORs, can find support for agency-transitioned contracts by visiting our PBS external agency COR toolkit.
